Hobart Archers

Archery is both an ancient pursuit and a modern Olympic sport and can be practiced with simple traditional wooden bows through to highly technical, state of the art equipment.

Archery is an ideal family sport and suitable for everyone from children to veterans with competitive divisions from Under 12 to 60+. It is a rewarding sport for people with a disability and our facilities are built to be wheelchair friendly.

Many archers pursue the sport as a fun weekend activity but for those pursuing personal excellence the sport is all about mental toughness and technical proficiency in an event where millimetres count.

Hobart Archers offer Outdoor target shooting all year round, Indoor target during the winter months and regular Field target, Clout and Archery Golf events. We conduct beginner's courses all year round on most Saturday mornings.

We have qualified instructors available for group coaching/conventions/parties etc. on-site or at your venue.
